Radar

sensor asks about a particular block or unit the program already holds in a variable. A radar answers a different question: who is nearby.

It finds exactly one — the “best” by the chosen measure — and only a unit: a radar does not see buildings at all.

Note

A radar has no range of its own: it looks as far as the block being asked can see. On a turret that is its firing range, on a processor its link range.
